The brief

PIN/Early Engagement Notice for Suppliers in lot 2 of CCS Framework Network Services 2 (RM3808) UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) is seeking to engage with a supplier in Crown Commercial Service's Framework Network Services 2 (RM 3808) Lot 2 that can provide an OFCOM compliant cellular mobile phone signal boosting solution for our offices at Nobel House, Whitehall, London.

The solution will comprise of the installation of a donor antenna on the roof of the building that relays the mobile services (voice only) from the major UK airtime providers (up to 5G) to distribution devices mounted in the ceiling, delivering a high mobile service quality and signal across 8 floors.

The solution must be hardware and antenna relocatable at end of building occupancy.

The solution must be a managed service, providing users with continual assurance that the extended cellular service within the building is delivering quality of service and signal quality and optimised where necessary.

We want to engage with a supplier that has proven experience in installing such systems as UKHSA will be moving staff into the building on 01/03/2021 and we need the solution in and working by then, preferably sooner.

The successful supplier must either have suitably skilled staff to commence the work or an existing relationship with a subcontractor as the project (the planning and securing of hardware) will need to start immediately on award of contract.

A detailed design is expected by early December with works to commence on the 6 unoccupied floors beginning in January 2022.

1.

How long would you expect this installation to take from award to handover?

2.

Will you be using sub-contractors?

Attached to this notice are the results from a signal strength survey.
