The brief

A Wellbeing Champion (WBC) is a young person who has undertaken specific mentoring training in order for them to support other children and young people in either their school or community setting.

The support provided will consist of listening, promoting wellbeing and resilience and signposting to further local support.

The Wellbeing Champion will receive support and supervision throughout the project from the provider organisation in the borough.

All on-costs and resources required to fulfil the requirements should be included within the quote.

Wellbeing Champions will work across all settings (education, youth sector and community).

The project will be targeted at young people aged 12-18 years living in the Blackburn with Darwen area or that access a setting within Blackburn with Darwen.

It is expected that this piece of work will be delivered via 1 x FTE post within the provider organisation.
