WSCC-Early Market Engagement for Supported Accommodation Housing Pathway (16-25)
West Sussex County Council (WSCC) would like to engage with suppliers prior to a procurement which will commence later this year for the requirement of providing a Supported Accommodation Housing Pathway to 16-25-year-olds.
This notice IS NOT the commencement of the procurement procedure, neither is it a call for expressions of interest.
This notice is released to gather more information to further inform our specification and to alert the market about a Supplier event on 11 September 2024 and invite the suppliers to complete the Questionnaire.
A separate notice and information will be provided when the actual procurement exercise starts later in the year.
The current contracts expire on 30 April 2025 and there is an option to extend them further for 6 more months until 30 September 2025.
We plan for the mobilisation to start in or around April 2025.
The services are being redesigned and the WSCC are looking to engage with the market to help to understand the interest to bid for the services as well as to capture the responses to Market Engagement Questionnaire which would further inform our specification, delivery model and funding for these services.
WSCC have created a Market Survey - Questionnaire which we would like you to complete and return to us by 28 August 2024.
Please email the survey responses to: strategic.housingCYPL@westsussex.gov.uk A prompt response would be very much appreciated.
West Sussex County Council would like to invite Suppliers to join us at a Supplier Engagement Event (virtual, via Microsoft Teams) on 11 September 2024 at 10.30- 12.30, therefore if you would like to attend, please email strategic.housingCYPL@westsussex.gov.uk with 'SA Supplier Event' in the subject line, and in the email tell us your name, your organisation and your email address, and we will send you an invitation to the event closer the time.
We would encourage an early registration for the event, so we get an overview of the numbers and prepare accordingly.
The Supplier event and the future procurement later this year are targeted at suppliers who could provide Supported Accommodation services and a Housing Pathway in West Sussex for 16-25-year-old young people in order to prevent the risk of homeless, reduce health inequalities and maximise opportunities to access education and employment.
In order to provide these services, the supplier is required to be registered as a Social Landlord and, in addition to that, where the service is provided to young people under 18 years of age, Ofsted registration will be mandatory.
Thank you and we look forward to hearing from you.
