Detailed specification of works for supply and installation of Changing Places Facility, with quotes provided for the 3 location options as detailed within "YOSC Changing Places Facility Location Document" 4. A priced and timed schedule for completion of works. 5. Details of Relevant Experience and Technical Skills, including relevant certifications and qualifications as outlined within the Award Criteria section. 6. Risk Assessments & Method Statements. 7. Details of guarantees / warranties for structure and equipment. 8. Details of aftercare plans, including facility maintenance and specialist equipment requirements (LOLER) 9. Details of training available. NB* Financial checks may be undertaken on selected contractors, post-tender and prior to appointment, depending on contract value. Tenders will be assessed on Price of works, Relevant Experience and Technical Skills as outlined within the Award Criteria section. The Town Council is not obliged to accept the lowest or any tender Tender Timelines: The tender opportunity will open on Monday 27th July 2026 and until noon on Friday 18th September 2026. The decision process and key dates will then be as follows: • All tenders will be opened and reviewed within 14 days of 18th September 2026 at Poole Court by the Finance Manager & RFO, Estates Manager & a Member of the YOSC Project Steering Group. • We may contact you at this point if we have any queries about your tender or require any clarification. • A synopsis of the tenders will be presented to the YOSC Project Steering Group to review and formally award the contract if agreed. • We will respond to everyone who submitted a valid tender to notify you of the outcome as soon as possible. Scope of the contract: To supply and install a new Changing Places facility at Yate Outdoor Sports Complex, including required groundworks and utility connections.
To comply with all aspects of the Changing Places Consortium requirements, as per the provided documents, to ensure the facility can be registered with the Changing Places Consortium upon project completion and guarantees given that this will be achieved.
The successful tender will be required to enter a JCT Design and Build form of contract with the client: Yate Town Council.
Valuations will be monthly.
Retention percentage 5% reducing to 2.5% on practical completion for a 12-month retention period.
Site visits: YTC will offer meetings for interested suppliers on site to discuss install and location options.
