The brief

Birmingham City Council (BCC) requires a supplier for the provision of parking surveys to be undertaken across the city.

The council is committed to creating a sustainable transport system that supports the efficient movement or people and goods in the city.

A sound parking policy is central to supporting a sustainable transport system.

This contract will be for a period of 3 months commencing 24th April 2017 until 28th July 2017.

In order to respond to these changes and the growth challenges facing the city, a review of the Council's parking policies and strategy is being undertaken.

To support this review, data collection of on-street and off-street parking surveys are required to improve the understanding on how parking is used by the public and inform the development of any future schemes.

BCC will be using its e-tendering system (in-tend) for the administration of this procurement process and providers must register with the system to be able to express an interest.

The web address is: https://in-tendhost.co.uk/birminghamcc Registration and use of In-tend is free.

All correspondence for this procurement process must be via the In-tend correspondence function.

If you are unable to register with In-tend please either email us at: cps@birmingham.gov.uk or call 0121 464 8000.
