The brief

To produce the detailed designs, to RIBA stage 4, of the pavilion sitting within the proposed Carbon Garden at Kew.

In addition, the design of a new bridge and bespoke railings.

The Pavilion's architecture and morphology is rooted in the biomimicry of the carbon cycle, using a variety of sustainable materials.

Planning consent has been given and it is proposed that the Carbon Garden will open in summer 2025.
