The prevention/new to the street service is aimed at preventing a first night on the streets and \r also working with those new to the streets to find alternative accommodation as quickly as \r possible.
This contract needs to be separate from the main Rough Sleeper Service both \r because the RSI funding has been on an annual basis and does not align with the RSS \r recommissioning ( come directly from BCC general fund).
It includes both a prevention/advice service (at New Street) and an a short-stay accommodation service (at the YMCA, Bristol Wing, which will be leased by St Mungos)).
There will need to be a break clause in the contract at the end of three months ( so 30/06/21) to allow for the potential that remaining funding from MHCLG is not awarded.
