MLCSU wishes to understand the range of providers prior to any decision being made and to inform potential procurement activity.

Interested organisations must obtain for themselves at their own responsibility and expense all information necessary for the preparation of their responses and will be deemed to have availed themselves of all necessary information in submitting responses.

In the event that the MLCSU decide not to proceed with a competitive process, there will be no liability for the CSU for any costs incurred by the interested organisations.

Short description: NHS Midlands and Lancashire Commissioning Support Procurement are issuing this Prior Information Notice on behalf of the Midlands and Lancashire CSU (MLCSU) Personalised Healthcare Service (PHC) who are seeking engagement with potential providers and the market in general in relation to the provision of a Patient case management system, to establish potential interest, as well as gauging the capacity and readiness of providers to deliver a patient case management system.

Potentially interested parties are invited to respond regarding their suitability and interest in delivering the system.

It should be noted that MLCSU does not guarantee to consider or adopt any of the proposals put forward by the market.

Description of procurement: NHS Midlands and Lancashire CSU (MLCSU) is seeking to maintain a single patient database to hold several patient-related information modules to include a case referral and management system, dynamic purchasing system, provider quality tool, etc in accordance with the National Framework for Continuing Healthcare and NHS Funded Nursing Care, plus other Personalised Health Care (PHC) contracted services.
