The brief

The main objective of IBID has been to develop a knowledge base on the embrittlement of RPV Steels.

This is of key interest to the UK nuclear industry, and one where expertise is in danger of being lost as key individuals age and retire.

The main vehicle for developing the knowledge base is a state-of-the-art review (SOAR) package.

This includes a variety of information sources at different levels of detail that are associated with a detailed technical review of a specific topic.
