The brief

The current Altia application has 2 separate tools.

The first is an Optical Character Recognition (OCR) tool, the second is an Analysis tool.

These tools are used by SOC FIU and analysts to support them in the analysis of large volumes of financial data/bank statements in order to assist and progress their investigations.

Some of the functionality this software assists with include, Identifying criminality, identifying patterns and trends in the activity of organised criminal gangs, double counting activity.

Without this software the only other option would be to manually input the data into Microsoft Excel, this process could take several days/weeks to input.

This contract will be for the development of a replacement bespoke Optical Character Recognition (OCR) Solution.
