Major & Minor Roads Resurfacing Programme, Swindon 2022 Swindon Borough Council invites expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced service providers for the provision of resurfacing / structural patching carriageway in Swindon which have been identified as in need of essential highway maintenance (detailed in the respective specification / drawings - including provision of all necessary traffic management).

Two proposed works packages are to be delivered within one contract given the similarity in discipline, specification and delivery period.

The works for delivery are fully detailed within the tender documentation & will include: • Carriageway patching / resurfacing • Replacement of existing kerbing where necessary • Adjustment of existing ironwork where necessary • Replacement of road markings where necessary • Replacement of High Friction Surfacing where necessary • Provision of suitable traffic management proposals and on site (including necessary associated advance signage and diversions) to accommodate the work within constraints outlined within the tender package.

Contract Period The initial contract term will be for 7 weeks as stated in the ITT documents.

To participate, Suppliers will need to Register as a Supplier with ProContract, www.supplyingthesouthwest.org.uk, then Register an Interest before obtaining access to the tender documents.

The Council's responses to these clarification questions will be issued on the ProContract tender portal.

Therefore it is the Contractor's responsibility to check the site regularly for updates to clarifications.
