NHS Bristol, North Somerset & South Gloucestershire Integrated Care Board (the ICB) is seeking to engage with potential providers to understand the position of the market and help develop an approach for potentially commissioning a Primary Care Information governance advice and guidance support service, together with a named Data Protection Officer.
This service will predominantly serve GP practices within the ICB footprint.
The main potential responsibilities fall into the following categories (but are not limited to): • IG Policy Support • IG consultancy and support • Data and patient privacy protection • Support for the Data Security and Protection Toolkit compliance Further information is provided in the form of a draft service specification as part of the market engagement questionnaire document.
The ICB invites interested providers to complete a market engagement questionnaire as found on the Atamis e-procurement system.
