DVSA wishes to invite suppliers on Lot 1 (Insurance Brokerage and Associated Services) on the CCS framework RM6020 "Insurance & Related Services 3" the opportunity to tender to become a provider for DVSAs motor fleet insurance brokerage requirement.
DVSA intends to award a contract to the most economically advantageous tender (MEAT); in accordance with the criteria and weightings in Section 8 (Evaluation Criteria) of this document.
However, DVSA is not bound to accept the lowest tender, or any tender received, and reserves the right to call for new tenders should it consider this desirable.
The right is further reserved by DVSA to accept or reject any part of the services offered through this process.
DVSA will in no case be responsible or liable for any costs incurred by tenderers in the preparation, clarification or negotiation of their tenders regardless of the outcome of the tendering process.
In essence, DVSA are seeking a supplier to secure a robust sourcing arrangement for motor fleet insurance on the most advantageous terms through appointment of a broker to manage this process.
