The Council is establishing a bespoke Framework under the Light Touch Regime (Regulations 74 to 77) of the Public Contract Regulations 2015 through which residential and nursing care placements will be purchased (the Framework).

The Care Home Framework will be available for the Council, Southampton City Council and the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Integrated Care Board (HIOWICB) to purchase residential and nursing care placements from.

Where the parties purchase residential and nursing care on behalf of another named party appropriate arrangements shall be in place prior to any placements being made.
