The Agreement is intended to commence on 1st July for an initial period of 2 years and 9 months until 31st March 2023 and may be extended annually at the Council's discretion for a further period of 12 months on each occasion, on up to two occasions.
The minor aids and adaptations service is a statutory service, for Care Act eligible service users, for the provision of minor adaptation works which are crucial in enabling timely discharge from hospital, supporting post-discharge recovery, preventing falls, preventing admissions to care homes and hospitals and maintaining independence at home.

The Contractor will deliver quality minor adaptations of less than £1000 and will be responsible for the supply, fitting or installation of requested equipment in the service user's home.
Interested parties must express their interest via the Chest by no later than 12.00 noon 27th April in order to access the tender documents.
