The brief

The London Borough of Richmond Upon Thames (the "Authority") is inviting Tenders from suitably experienced and qualified providers for the Innovative Platform for Homebased Services ("The Platform") for the provision of Domiciliary Care, Homecare Reablement and Live-in Services.

The platform commenced on 30th January 2023 and will be open for an initial period of 10 years.

The Authority is conducting this tendering exercise in accordance with the Light Touch Regime (LTR) as set out in the Public Contract Regulations (PCR) 2015 (or any amendment or re-enactment thereof) and in compliance with the provisions of the PCR 2015.

In the spirit of the Better Service Partnership between the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames and the London Borough of Wandsworth, Wandsworth Borough Council is a named Authority under the published Prior Inform Notice (PIN) as a call for competition, relating to this tendering exercise.

The London Borough of Wandsworth as a named authority will have recourse to use the Platform, to support its contingency planning arrangements, in addition to its other contractual arrangements.
