Leeds Suicide Bereavement Service is a peer support, postvention service commissioned as part of the Leeds Suicide Prevention Action Plan. Postvention supports people bereaved and/or affected by suicide to avoid long term negative health and social outcomes and plays a critical part in preventing further suicides. The service does this by providing timely peer support in a variety of forms including with individuals, families, and groups.

This contract has been awarded under the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award. This contract has now been formally awarded using direct award process C. Date of contract award decision - 24th April 2024. Dates between which the services are intended be provided - 1st January 2025 to 31st December 2027 The lifetime value of the contract - £535,017.00 There was no reviews during the standstill period. There were no declared conflicts and there were no potential conflicts of interest of individuals making the decision.
