The brief

The Bank of England launched the new RTGS system successfully in April 2025.

After a year of maintenance and support, enhancements have been identified to ensure the system is running as effectively as possible.

The TDP is required to work alongside the Bank of England to align the core settlement product family and to deliver these strategic enhancements.

The Bank plans to explore the options from the market along with how the TDP and enhancements could be procured.

Particular suitability: -Understand what capabilities exist in the market for payments, payment processing, AMH and SWIFT messaging. -Assess how suppliers support end‑to‑end innovation in payment messaging. -Identify scalable and flexible approaches that can support future regulatory, operational, and technology change -Inform subsequent discovery and procurement activity This Notice is for information only.
