02/ The brief

What the notice says

Not fully read: this is the notice text; attached documents are not read.

NHS Supply Chain intends to launch a National Framework Agreement which encompasses the provision of Advanced Angiography Diagnostic Equipment and associated accessories, including but not limited to imaging Systems, Cath Lab Tools, and Specialized Diagnostic Software.

Additionally, the scope of the agreement covers related services essential to the operation and maintenance of the equipment, such as comprehensive Managed Services to support lifecycle management, and provision of Mobile and Relocatable Catheterization Laboratories to ensure continuity and flexibility of diagnostic services.

This procurement will result in the establishment of a Framework Agreement, through which suppliers can be engaged to provide high-quality angiography equipment and associated services. This will facilitate access to imaging technology and expert support, optimizing diagnostic capabilities across various healthcare settings.

Precise quantities are unknown. Estimated value over the total Framework Agreement term would be £600,000,000 over a 2+1+1 year term.

The Framework Agreement will be between NHS Supply Chain and the Supplier, however 1) NHS Supply Chain, 2) any NHS Trust; 3) any other NHS entity; 4) any government department, agency or other statutory body and/or 5) any private sector entity active in the UK healthcare sector will be able to enter into a direct contract with the Supplier for any of the supplies and/or services under the Framework.

The Supplier will be required to report and pay a direct contract management fee to NHS Supply Chain which will be detailed in the tender documents at the tender publication stage.

Instructions on how to submit a response to the RFI are listed within the Additional Information section.
