The service aims to provide a vital bridge between an unmanageable life of dependent substance use and abstinence-based recovery. It will enable people who are known to struggle to make the transition into structured treatment with a preparatory step to enable their longer-term outcomes more sustainable.
The service will be delivered in an accommodation-based setting with 24/7 on-site support and intensive housing management to enable individuals prepare people for long-term, sustainable changes in their lifestyle and behaviour. Bidders will be required to source the appropriate building from which to base the service as part of their tender proposal.
