To inform preparation of Shropshire’s next Local Plan (to 2046), Shropshire Council wishes to invite suitably experienced and qualified consultants to undertake a Strategic Housing Market Assessment (SHMA) for Shropshire .
The purpose of this SHMA is to provide a comprehensive analysis of the size, type and tenure of market, affordable, and specialist housing needed across Shropshire and within each of its 18 Place Plan areas (which reflect approximate functional zones of influence, generally consisting of a main centre and its surrounding communities and rural hinterland).
