NHS Lancashire and South Cumbria Integrated Care Board is seeking to commission The Provision of Lancashire and South Cumbria Adult Teledermatology Service.
The overall aim of the services (SkinHub, image capture spoke sites and Central Virtual Triage) is to deliver a pre-secondary care referral teledermatology pathway, delivered closer to patients' homes, whilst maintaining effective triage of teledermoscopy images taken on USC pathways in LSC Trusts.
The term of the contract will be for a duration of three years, which is intended to run from the expected services commencement date of approx.
January 2027 (contract start date to be agreed) until approx.
January 2030 with the possibility of contract extensions, at the discretion of the Relevant Authority, of up to a total of two years from approx.
February 2030 to approx.
February 2032.
The anticipated, maximum total contract value (including any potential extensions) is £13,400,000.
Indicative overall maximum total contract value is made of £7,100,000 for the three years of contract and £6,300,000 for the two-year extension.
