The brief

Tonbridge and Malling Borough Council is inviting interested parties to take part in a supplier engagement process regarding the replacement of the existing skatepark at Tonbridge Farm (Longmead).

At this stage the Council is undecided about how best to deliver this project and is engaging with the market to explore options and gauge the current market interest.

As part of the Councils Annual Service Delivery Plan, Leisure Services are currently working on a project to replace the existing skate park at Tonbridge Farm (Longmead) Sportsground, which is owned and managed by TMBC.

The current facility is approximately 25 years old and is reaching the end of its serviceable lifespan.

Ongoing repairs are becoming increasingly difficult and no longer considered economically viable.
