What the notice says

Not fully read: this is the notice text; attached documents are not read.

London Stadium is undertaking early market engagement with respect to its requirement to install a replacement fire main system.

This engagement will help London Stadium to better inform their procurement strategy, but at this stage forms no commitment to procure.

To take part in this early market engagement and to express your interest please provide a 500 word summary including an introduction to your organisation and your suitability based on the criteria and description below. Please submit this by 5pm 26th November 2020 to charlotte.gohil@londonstadium185.com .

The fire main system will replace the original installed ahead of the 2012 London Olympic and Paralympic Games. The venue is now a world leading multi-purpose venue hosting Premier league football, World class athletics, professional rugby, Major League Baseball and some of biggest music concerts staged in the UK.

The fire main is c.500m in length, with connections to fire hydrants in several locations around the venue. The system forms an essential part of the stadium safety plans.

The appointed contractor will need to demonstrate LPCB certificated for the installation of automatic and non-automatic fire fighting systems. They will also need to demonstrate experience of installing a fire main project with an equivalent size, value (£500k-£700k), having worked in live venues running events during installation and be fully compliant with all health, safety and welfare requirements and be familiar with CDM Pre-Construction Information.

This early engagement activity forms no part of a formal procurement process and you will not be scored or evaluated in any way based on your response.
