The brief

Gwent Police is undertaking a Preliminary Market Engagement exercise to inform the future provision of catering and canteen services at Gwent Police Headquarters, Cwmbran.

Prior to commencing any formal procurement process, Gwent Police wishes to engage with the market to gain an understanding of the options available for the operation, management and development of the existing canteen facilities.

This engagement will help shape any future procurement strategy and service requirements.

Scope of Engagement Gwent Police is seeking input from suppliers with experience in the provision of catering, café, restaurant, hospitality and workplace food service operations.

Suppliers are invited to review the existing facilities and provide feedback on: - Potential operating models. - Service delivery options. - Opportunities for improving utilisation of the facility. - Commercial viability considerations. - Innovation and best practice within the sector. - Potential investment requirements. - Sustainability and social value opportunities.

Site Visits Interested suppliers are invited to attend an individual site visit at Gwent Police Headquarters.

To ensure commercial confidentiality and to accommodate operational requirements, site visits will be arranged on an individual basis.

Suppliers will not attend site visits jointly and no group engagement sessions will be held.
