The RNN Group is conducting Preliminary Market Engagement in advance of their tender for a network infrastructure redesign.
The Group are seeking supplier input on best practice, technologies, and delivery approaches to ensure that the solution is modern, secure, and scalable.
At a minimum, the project will replace all access points and switches.
The Group also invites proposals for additional improvements, including: •Network architecture and topology redesign •Core and edge switching infrastructure upgrades •Wireless infrastructure and heatmapping •Security enhancements, resilience and redundancy •Network monitoring and automation The engagement will include: 1.Registration of Interest – suppliers confirm participation.
2.Supplier briefing – overview of current environment and objectives.
3.Site Visits/Surveys – suppliers assess existing infrastructure.
4.Proposals – suppliers submit non-binding recommendations and budgetary input.
5.Discussions – optional follow-up meetings to clarify proposals.
The Group aims to refine its technical requirements, gain indicative costings, and ensure that the tender is commercially viable.
No contract will be awarded as a direct result of this engagement.
