City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council Public Health would like to commission a provider to support smokers to quit or reduce harm within 5 Community Mental Health Teams across Bradford and District under the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023 - Most Suitable Provider Process. Smoking is the biggest driver of inequalities and is far more common in people with a long-term mental health condition when compared to the general condition.
This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) intended approach notice. The awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award.
The provider will employ two whole time equivalent smoking cessations advisors to support people to start their smokefree journey.
