Supply of cleaning services to United Kingdom Supreme Court
The United Kingdom Supreme Court (UKSC), a Grade II Listed Building of approximately 6,600m2 Gross Internal Area seeks a sole Supplier (Cleaning Services) to deliver the following (not exhaustive list): 1) Routine cleaning: • Maintaining of internal cleanable areas including fixtures, fittings, furniture finishes, lifts, ceilings, walls, carpets, curtains, blinds, glass surfaces, ledges, pictures, lampshades, rails. • Ensure that the offices, toilets, shower rooms, Café eating area , dining room, staff kitchens / tea points, public Areas, meeting and conference rooms and all other working areas, floor spaces are maintained to a high level of general cleanliness and remain presentable and fit for their intended purpose. • External areas of the premises: 'moat' and road level 'moat' grill covering. • Daily bin/waste removal, spillages. • During normal cleaning working hours, a reactive cleaning / janitorial service.
2) Specific Tasks and Standards will apply in relation to: • Sinks and Washbasins • Staff Kitchens / Rest Rooms • Refrigerators and Microwaves • Paper Towel Dispensers and Receptacles • Soap dispensers • Feminine Hygiene Units • Toilet Roll (including toilet tissue holders and dispensers) • Cafeteria Eating Area and dining room.
3) Periodic Specialist Cleaning of all furniture, fixtures, and fittings including (not exhaustive list): Walls, ceilings, ventilation diffusers and ceiling light fittings.
4) Specialist Antiques Cleaning as requested by UKSC (Ad Hoc).
5) Specialist Cleaning: The Supplier shall provide a Specialist Cleaning Service for specialist fixtures and fittings (e.g., natural stone, period wall tiles, brass handles).
6) Periodic (and outside of normal hours) - external and Internal window cleaning, including roof/façade; gutters/ hoppers.
The UKSC will have environmental/sustainability requirements.
The UKSC supports paying employees the real cost of living in London - London Living Wage Current contract value is approximately between £14,000 and £17,000 per month (ex.VAT).
The Supplier shall be reimbursed for the purchase cost of consumables provided for sole purpose of the Cleaning Services.
