This year, the University of the Arts London launched its new strategy, "The World Needs Creativity", which sets out our ambitions for the next decade.
The strategy has three guiding policies; guiding policy 3 is 'To change the world through our creative endeavour'.
Guiding policy 3 is directly addressed through the new UAL Research Strategy to be launched in early 2023.
To successfully deliver the strategy will mean increasing research funding through strategic partnerships, a focus on inter-, multi- and trans-disciplinary research, and the expansion of our portfolio of funding to sustainably grow our research activity.
This will lead to an increase in the size and complexity of our research and knowledge exchange projects.
UAL's objective is to ensure that we have systems and processes in place to support and enable our ambitions for growth.
