The brief

NHS Arden and Greater East Midlands Commissioning Support Unit, on behalf of NHS Black Country Integrated Care Board are seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced providers to provide a Vasectomy service.

The successful provider will be required to provide a high quality and safe one or two stage, no-scalpel of scalpel technique vasectomy under local anaesthetic, in accordance with the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists guidelines (RCOG).

The service will be provided in a primary care setting to all adult males who request it, are of sound mind and not acting under duress. <br/><br/>The contract will run for an initial 2 years with an option to extend for up to a further 2 years at the sole discretion of the commissioner. <br/><br/>Bidders should express an interest by visiting the Atamis Health Family portal and searching for opportunity reference C458297 - "Vasectomy Service - Black Country ICB".<br/><br/>The closing date for the submission of tenders is 11th September 2026 at 5pm.
