1.1.3 The Authority is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced provider to demonstrate, install, monitor, and respond (in an appropriate manner) to any alerts from dispersed alarms in the community utilising call monitoring systems.
1.1.4 The Authority requires continuous monitoring of these systems - i.e., 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days per year.
1.1.5 This contract will be established for an initial period of 3 years with the option to extend for a further period or periods totalling no more than 2 years, taking the contract term to a maximum of 5 years.
It is the intention of the Authority that the contract will commence on 1st January 2024, or as otherwise agreed.
Contracts will be drawn up and will be awarded to a single provider.
For the purposes of this document 'Council' or 'Authority' is used to mean Forest of Dean District Council.
