The brief

Banbury Town Council is no longer seeking Expressions of Interest (EoI) for the modular construction of a pavilion to be erected in the Community Garden, People's Park.

Following receipt of the EoI tenders were sent out and received by the closing date of 20th January 2020.

The pavilion shall contain 6 toilets (including 1 that is DDA compliant) plus plant room, a mess room for on-site staff and a covered demonstration area.

Planning Permission is currently being sought from Cherwell District Council (the Planning Authority).

The Planning Application can be found on their Planning Portal under Reference No 19/01251/F.

This pavilion is to be a single storey timber framed community pavilion with associated ramp and balustrade.

Following receipt of the Expressions of Interest a shortlist will be drawn up of contractors who will be invited to tender for the work.

Contractors wishing to Express an Interest in this project must show proven ability to provide and construct a facility of this nature.

Once Planning Permission has been obtained the existing building will be demolished by other contractors to facilitate the installation of the new building.

The polythene tunnel on the site has already been removed.
