Denmead Parish Council (DPC) are inviting tenders for the following works.
The works, although not notifiable, are still bound by the CDM 2017 regulations, and the winning tenderer will need to produce the relevant documentation upon award.
An indication on the tender if the relevant documentation is in place is required.
This must include insurance and health and safety.
Denmead graveyard entrance road from point A to Point B on the attached map (appendix 1) the area is approximately 130 Metres (x 3M wide).
The works consist of excavating the existing surface and subbase to allow for the road to be reconstructed to the attached Spec Figure A3.5 Flexible roads type 4 Method A (appendix 2) along with the installation of 3 no Gullies with a 150mm outlet pipe into the adjacent ditch, 150mm deep wooden Elm boards are to be installed the entire length of both sides the road, to the gateway at point B where concrete edging stone will be required to be laid to demark the 2 packages.
A formal response will be expected to include indicative costs for the re-surfacing.
Tenders should be submitted no later than 4 weeks from the date of publication and submitted in a sealed envelope marked for the attention of the Clerk at the address shown below or by email parishclerk@denmead-pc.gov.uk Prospective contractors are prohibited from contacting staff and Councillors to encourage or support their tender outside of the prescribed process described above.
The works we are inviting Expressions of interest for should be tendered as two separate packages, but should DPC decide to let both packages, a mobilisation price reduction would be expected.
