What the notice says
Not fully read: this is the notice text; attached documents are not read.
The Money and Pensions Service (MaPS) is an arm's-length body, sponsored by the Department for Work and Pensions, with a joint commitment to ensure information, guidance and advice is provided to members of the public in the clearest and most cost-effective way.
This Notice is notification that, following a consultation phase, MaPS is now moving into the early stages of market engagement for the commissioning of its community-based debt advice services. MaPS invites the sector to engage and seeks early input to develop the requirements.
This is a first step to engaging widely over the coming months. This phase will involve three virtual engagement events, where we propose to discuss the following elements of the requirements:
Event 1: The competitive process, Geography & lotting, length of agreement, budget & should cost modelling, target clients and delivery channels
Event 2: Payment approach, performance monitoring, data and reporting requirements, value for money
Event 3: Workforce wellbeing, Social Value, accessibility, service transition, quality assurance and training
The content of each session may be subject to final amends.
The virtual engagement events will be held via MS Teams Webinars on the following dates:
Event 1: Thursday 12th December 2024
Event 2: Wednesday 15th January 2025
Event 3: Wednesday 22nd January 2025
To attend an event(s) please follow the registration details provided in section II.2.14. 'Additional information' of this notice.
