The London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham is preparing to procure community-based services for adults, including floating support and day opportunities.

This procurement follows a comprehensive placement sufficiency review examining adult social care provision across the whole system to ensure we have the right range and volume of services to meet residents current and future needs.

To support this, we are hosting engagement opportunities with existing and potential providers ahead of the formal procurement process.

These include a market engagement event and a questionnaire, with the aim to: • Introduce the Council’s Strategy for Independent Living • Share the Council’s challenges, intentions and desired outcomes. • Explore delivery models and options for structuring the future service. • Invite views on desired outcomes and service scope. • Gather informal input to shape technical requirements and service design. • Understand current market capabilities, innovations and best practice. • Support networking to encourage potential partnerships, consortia, or supply chains.

This engagement is part of the Council’s commitment to designing a high quality, accessible, and inclusive services that meets the diverse needs of adults across the borough.
