What the notice says
Not fully read: this is the notice text; attached documents are not read.
This is a Contract Award Notice published pursuant to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. The contract has been awarded following Direct Award Process A.
The Authority is satisfied that the service can only be provided by Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. The service requires a specialist Registered Mental Health Nurse to be embedded within Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust's Adult Community Mental Health Teams, working within established mental health clinical pathways and alongside existing multidisciplinary teams. This enables integrated management of individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance misuse needs, supports transitions between services, and ensures consistent clinical oversight and coordination of care. Therefore, Direct Award Process A is considered appropriate.
