The brief

The University is inviting tenders on the terms set out in this ITT for a Framework agreement to which the University intends to appoint one tenderer (Single supplier Framework agreement).

The University is looking to appoint one supplier to offer a Design, Supply, Install, Operate, Maintenance and Back Office service for the required Electric Vehicle Charging Points (EVCPs) at Lancaster University.

The Provider must account for and include items necessary for the delivery and successful operation of the charging infrastructure over the period of the contract and in accordance with the specification detail included within this ITT.

The first Call-Off (Phase 1 package of work) will be to replace the 36 Electric Vehicles (EV) charge points at 6 locations across the Lancaster University campus.

These charge points are currently free to use 7kW EV charge points and the University wishes to implement a project to replace its current fleet of charge points with systems that will be chargeable, fully controllable, flexible and future proofed.

Any subsequent Call-Off/Phases of works are to be agreed.

This tender is not lotted.

One supplier will be awarded to the Framework agreement.

The University will host accompanied site visits on Friday 8th October 2021.
