The Council wishes to establish a Framework of several Service Providers for the provision of Electrical Works and Goods.
The Council intends to divide the Framework into Lots, including: - Full Rewires, additional and single item works to Domestic Properties (high volume) - Full Rewires, additional and single item works to Domestic Properties (low volume) - Domestic - Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR) - Contractor Switches - Electrical Materials - Mechanical Electrical Materials It is anticipated the Framework will run for two (2) years with one (1) possible 24-month extension period.
The purpose of this Preliminary Market Engagement exercise is to: • Understand current market capacity, capability, and interest. • Identify barriers, risks, and opportunities. • Inform the procurement strategy (including scope, risk allocation and form of contract). • Shape future tender documentation so that it aligns with the market and delivers best value.
