• Resurfacing of the carriageway over the scheme extents to the new highway alignment.

• Alterations and provision of new drainage for the new highway alignment.

• Construction of a new 3m wide footway on the southern side of Holford Drive from Aldridge Road to the school.

• Removal and replacement of the existing fence and wall forming the boundary to the former Midland Chrome Plating site for the new highway alignment.

• Accommodation works to the school access, temporary car park access of the formally Midland Chrome Plating site, Allotments, and private drives for the new highway alignment.

• Removal of the existing Zebra crossing outside the school.

• Construction of a new footway on the southern side of Holford Drive from the school to the link to the existing footway outside the West Midland Police Custody Suite.

• Regrading of the existing embankment to facilitate the above including provision of retaining structure if required.

• Alterations and provision of new street lighting for the new highway alignment.

• Relining of the carriageway for the new highway layout including Aldridge Road.

• Install additional traffic signal equipment on Southbound arm of Aldridge Road and Holford Drive.

• Tie-in works to the new access for the recycling centre.

• Restrict parking along Holford Drive.
