The brief

Maidstone Borough Council (MBC) is inviting interested parties to take part in supplier engagement regarding an upcoming commercial waste collection service.

Current arrangements will be out of contract in early 2026 and MBC are looking at the potential of procuring a long-term solution.

As such, the Facilities Management & Property Team are keen to engage with potential suppliers, to gather information, explore innovative approaches to support our sustainability aims, and better understand the capabilities available in the market.

This Supplier Engagement activity will prepare MBC for next steps after the end of the current contract, due to expire in February 2026.

A seamless transition in service is required to ensure collections continue with no void period.

The responses to these questions should be submitted in writing by 5pm Wednesday 29th October 2025.
