North Yorkshire Council (the Authority) is requesting information from suppliers to help determine the scope and feasibility of its requirement and to assist with drafting a future tender specification for the Thriving in Care Homes Framework.
The Authority is looking to set up an open framework for a total duration of 8 years .
There will be no limit to the number of suppliers that will be appointed to the framework.
The framework will be split into two Lots.
Lot 1 will cover the following service levels (tiers): • Tier 1 - Standard Care – For providers supporting people whose needs are generally stable and can be met through planned, consistent care delivery, without the need for intensive specialist intervention. • Tier 2 – Enhanced Care – For providers able to support people with more complex and fluctuating needs requiring frequent monitoring and responsive intervention to manage risk, distress, and deterioration. • Tier 3 – Frailty and Dementia (complex/specialist) – For providers able to support people whose needs are highly complex, unstable or associated with significant risk and require intensive specialist intervention, and often sustained intervention to maintain safety and stability Lot 2 - Specialist, is for providers that are able to support people with people with profound and multiple disabilities, in particular, people who may have learning disabilities, autism, mental health, physical disabilities, sensory impairments and/or acquired brain injury.
The value within the notice has been published as £0, as the service is demand based it is not yet known what the maximum framework value will be.
A maximum contract value will be confirmed in the tender notice once published.
