When this comes round again

Glasgow City Council has published 3 Real Estate Services notices, about every 30 months. On that rhythm the next one is expected around November 2028.

70% of Glasgow City Council’s awards go to a supplier it has used before.

Which is the argument for getting on the list rather than winning this one. The incumbent is rarely the last winner — it is the roster. See the retention odds by category →

The brief

Glasgow City Council and Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership are hosting a market engagement event to discuss plans for a future procurement for Private Rented Sector accommodation.

This event will provide an opportunity for interested Suppliers to hear more about - - Glasgow’s new 10-year Temporary Accommodation Strategy (available at https://glasgowcity.hscp.scot/publication/item-no-13-glasgow-city-hscp-10-year-homelessness-temporary-accommodation-strategy) - Our requirements for private rented sector accommodation in Glasgow, and; - Information on how to become tender ready.

The session will also include a short questionnaire for attendees to complete.

Your feedback will play an important role in shaping the forthcoming tender process and helping the Council to understand market capacity and sector specific considerations.

We encourage all interested Suppliers to attend and contribute to this important engagement opportunity.
