The Provider shall supply suitably qualified and HCPC-registered Educational Psychologists (EPs) to undertake Education, Health and Care Needs Assessment (EHCNA) work and produce Psychological Advice on behalf of Somerset Council.

The overarching aim of the service is to support the timely completion of statutory EHC needs assessments and contribute to improved outcomes for children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

The Provider will be expected to work collaboratively with Somerset Council to reduce delays within the EHC assessment process and support compliance with statutory timescales.
