The requirement is for a therapeutic intervention service for children and young people, between the ages of 5 - 14 years.

In line with the principles of GIRFEC , the Council is committed to promoting, supporting and nurturing children and young people’s mental health and well-being.

The Council also has a commitment to trauma responsive approaches and practice.

The service provider must be able to demonstrate their own commitment to trauma informed practice and GIRFEC principles.

The Service will complement existing supports and will be one of many interventions available to support children and young people.
