What the notice says
Not fully read: this is the notice text; attached documents are not read.
This is a Preliminary Market Engagement (PMEN) notice. It is not a formal invitation to tender. You will need to respond to the tender notice when published to be considered for the forthcoming Contract. The purpose of this PMEN is to maximise transparency and competition for the upcoming tender notice. All details in this PMEN are subject to being updated or changed in the tender notice.
The PMEN is being published to advertise a Preliminary Market Engagement Event to be held online on Friday 2 May 2025 at 10.00-11.30. UK where more information about the requirements will be shared. Following this engagement event interested Suppliers may be offered the opportunity to discuss the requirements.
The objectives of this exercise are to:
• gain initial supplier awareness and engagement,
• gain insight to the market possibilities and potential innovative solutions;
• understand risks and issues not previously considered;
• inform the Business Case;
• inform the Procurement Strategy; and
• prevent the University from tendering an unachievable project.
The PMEN fulfils the requirement for a Preliminary Market Engagement Notice to be issued under the Procurement Act 2023.
The University of Worcester is seeking to procure and implement a Student Case Management. This solution will support key Student Services functions. We are seeking suppliers who may have an interest in this project to complete the Questionnaire in Appendix A To help gain a better understanding of the feasibility of the requirements, the most effective route to market, the capacity of the market to deliver any possible risks and issues that may not have been previously considered.
The University’s high-level requirements for this system can be found at Appendix B. These represent the University’s current requirements, but they may be amended at any time prior to tender.
